A complete instrumentation is embedded in Cisco devices. Unfortunately, it is often unused.
Alaloop has formed a development partnership with Cisco to transform a Cisco architecture into a wide instrumentation network.
Our customers benefit from the power of Cisco instrumentation associated with the user-friendly presentation of the results on our portals and the technical assistance from our measurement experts.
Alaloop is the reference solution for measuring Cisco architectures in SaaS mode.
Our solution is intended for operators who want to deliver to their customers customized dashboards or for companies wishing to get dashboards independently of their operator and with the ability to add applications or user experience measurements.
The Alaloop portals include all the requirements for monitoring any type of network. They use the following Cisco instrumentation :
Performance measurement for checking SLA
- active monitoring by IP SLA robots embedded in the full range of routers/switches;
- passive monitoring through the ART measures of the NAM platform
Workload of network nodes for planning WAN links
- integration of various MIBs for monitoring traffics;
- MIB2 for collection the intput/output "traffic counters" on the WAN interface;
- CBQos MIB for traffic statistics per class of service (Cos) and/or traffic filter;
- NBAR MIB for traffic statistics at the application level.
Traffic analysis for monitoring the business applications flows
- Based on Netflow (flow recorders) : to get a global view of business traffics;
- Based on NAM (packet recorder) : detailed analysis for troubleshooting purposes.
